If the cartoon is meant for any audio-visual medium then one should select suitable sound for the cartoon. As the animation style affects the cartoon highly one should do it at last and he should give complete attention to his work.

Modern cartoons are only single drawing supported by small caption written in a balloon. Captions can also be written on the space beneath the cartoon.
